Last updated: 6 August 2026
Planet Furniture (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (“Planet Furniture”, “we”, “us”) operates this website at en.planet-furniture.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect from visitors and business contacts, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It applies to this website and to enquiries you send us through it.
Who we are
Planet Furniture (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

What we collect
- Information you give us. When you request a quotation, send an enquiry or email us, we receive your name, company name, email address, telephone number, country or delivery market, and whatever you choose to write in your message, including any drawings, photographs or specifications you attach.
- Information collected automatically. Our web server records standard technical data for every visit: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is ordinary server logging, used for security and to understand which pages are useful.
- Cookies. See the Cookies section below.
We do not ask for and do not want special-category data (health, religion, biometric or similar). Please do not send it to us.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation. Necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To manufacture, pack, ship and invoice an order. Necessary for the performance of our contract with you.
- To keep accounting, customs and export records. Necessary to comply with Thai tax, customs and company law.
- To keep the website secure and working. Our legitimate interest in operating a safe site.
- To send you occasional commercial information about products or collections, where you are an existing business contact or have asked us to. You can stop this at any time by replying to any message or writing to the address above.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share only what is needed, and only with:
- freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers, to move and clear your goods;
- our bank, for payment and documentary credit handling;
- our web hosting and email providers, who process data on our instructions;
- professional advisers and government authorities, where the law requires it.
International transfers
We are based in Thailand and our records are held here. If you contact us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or elsewhere, your data will be transferred to and processed in Thailand. We rely on the necessity of that transfer for the performance of a contract with you, or for steps taken at your request before a contract. Where required, we will put appropriate safeguards in place.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to two years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back. Records connected with an actual order — contracts, invoices, export and customs documents — are kept for at least ten years, as Thai accounting and customs law requires. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Your rights
Under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act and, where it applies to you, the EU or UK GDPR, you may ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete data we no longer have a reason to keep;
- restrict or object to how we use it, including for direct marketing;
- receive it in a portable format, or withdraw a consent you gave us.
Write to nai@planet-furniture.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand, or to the data protection authority in your own country.
Cookies
This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work — remembering your session and your preferences, and keeping the site secure. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may then behave differently.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing customers will also be sent by email.
